Advocacy is a way of making efforts to influence government policy and practice. That could for example be CSOs taking part in a consultative process regarding the reform of the electoral law; it good be CSOs pushing for a Freedom of Information law and creating a public debate forum around this; it could be CSO campaigns to influence party financing mechanisms, or Civil society in policy dialogue for the improvements of district development grants. |
